This is SINGER'S GEAR-DRIVEN UPHOLSTERY MACHINE - RARE MODEL 15-125 SERIAL NUMBER AM598249 A MINT GREEN MACHINE CIRCA 1955-1959. This is a fantastic and rare vintage Singer 15-125 Sewing Machine in mint green with Foot Control Pedal, Power Cord, Accessory Box full of various shoes and needles. This an UPHOLSTERY machine as well as an excellent DRAPERY machine. For use as an UPHOLSTERY MACHINE a #18 needle or a leather point needle should work the best. A leather-point needle is a wedge needle as it has three (3)-sides that slide into the material. It was made in the mid 1950s when things were built to last forever and look great doing it! This lock stitch machine is made of all metal and is gear driven - no need to change a belt, ever. It takes common class 15 bobbins and 15x1 needles, so no need to hunt for special ones. It stitches perfectly and comes with SEVERAL ZIPPER FEET, AND A RUFFLER SHOE as well as other accessories as shown in the photos to include bobbins and needles. This machine will come to you with its original cabinet for mounting and using to sew. The cabinet is in excellent condition and the legs will be removed for compact shipping and easily re-installed by you the new owner.
