Description: Wonderful set of 3 hand embroidered linen napkins with damask checkerboard motif. Creamy white color lovely soft floppy hand. This is a fun set. They actually have two monograms. One small faded red cross stich monogram LJ that I would think was its original mark. Dating from the early 1900's 1900-10. The Large center monogram JG I think was added later. Meticulously hand sewn hems. Condition: Very good! Just a few small spots as one may expect for age and use. Washed, pressed and ready to use. Please see photos and use zoom for additional item detail and condition. Approximate measurements: Napkins 31" X 26" I do my best to accurately describe condition and point out major flaws, but condition is seldom perfect as one would expect from a 100 year old textile. Small marks and flaws should be expected. The timeworn look and signs of their unique history is part of what makes them so charming and special! ***Please ask questions before purchasing.***Thank you for looking!
