Description: Item is in GOOD Condition. It has some shelf wear, expected for a vintage book.The pages inside are in very good shape with no highlighting, marks, or writing; no dog-earing or bent pages. There is no dust cover. The grey boards are in acceptable shape with no scratches or tears; minimal to no fraying along the edges, but there is a bit more wear on the bottom edges and foot and crown of the spine from shelf rubbing. There is an ancient round cup stain on the front, long since faded and dried, and some age spots, but these are not obtrusive and blend in with the background. They do not go through the board. The spine binding is tight, no loose pages, and in good shape (please see pictures as they are part of the description). Overall in good condition.This edition, which was published by Modern Library in 1924 with an introduction by Conrad Aiken, is one of the first editions to gather Dickinson's poems together in one volume, based on an earlier 1890 edition.
