Description: Up for sale here is this recap kit for the Seeburg DCC Digital Control Center, found in the Seeburg digital control centers from the LS-310 through the STD-4. At this point these are at least 50 years old, and the old capacitors are weak and failing. We will make them new again! This kit includes replacement electrolytic and film capacitors to replace all of the old electrolytic and tantalum capacitors, plus a replacement for the C3101 .33 uf cap. It also includes instructions to explain how to install everything. The instructions will also go over some basics for working on tube gear. This does not include any tubes or other capacitors or resistors. New caps are Supertech axial electrolytics, Supertech MPT film capacitors, and one Wima film cap--you will get the exact parts shown in the picture. These are all high-quality brand new genuine parts, the same parts I use when I work on vintage gear. There are a number of old film capacitors in the DCC that do not need replacing, and the kit does not include replacements for those. The parts included are mostly exact uf replacements, some of which you can't really find anywhere else. The 300 uf 50v cap is upgraded to a 330 uf 50v cap. These mostly go higher in voltage compared to the originals--the Wima film cap is 63v, the Supertech film cap is 630v, and the Supertech electrolytic caps are 50v, 63v, and 160v. I will include surprisingly well-written instructions, but this is somewhat complicated, and you should know what you're doing and have a decent soldering iron. This kit will not fix everything that could be wrong with your equipment, but it will certainly help. Please see my pictures for details.
