Description: Testing and working Sears TLS 35 mm camera. This camera works as it should HOWEVER, it has a couple of qwirks. 1. The shutter release button gets stuck SOMETIMES especially if pressed down too hard. Luckily, all you have to do is screw in the included cable release and use it to free the button. If you ‘re gentle on the button it doesn’t get stuck in the first place. 2. The film winder lever doesn’t return on its own and you have to gently push it back in place to complete the wind. Pretty minor. Shutter works on all speeds on the dial. The battery for the light meter is no longer manufactured so I don’t know if the meter works. The camera DOESN’T need a battery to operate. The lens is clean, free of dust, oil, and mold. Focus is smooth and the aperture stops down as it should at all stops. The filter ring is bent, again, pretty minor. You don’t strictly need a filter on the lens anyway. This is a great camera for a beginner who’s wanting to try out film photography.
