Description: For sale is my last steel string. This one and my Collings are my favorites, so I kept them for last. The Collings sold a couple months ago while the Santa Cruz was at the factory. In Sept 2024 this guitar was refretted, set-up, and Plek'ed by the Master Luthier at Santa Cruz. The action is perfect in every way. The quality of work Santa Cruz was amazing and this one plays better than the new one at the local dealer in my area (sounds better too). The intonation over the entire neck is as good as any guitar I've owned (which includes seven Collings). 2011 Santa Cruz with Adirondack top. Mahogany back and sides. Original case. 1 and 3/4 neck. Couple of tiny dings on the lower edge of the top. One slightly larger ding on the very edge near the binding near the endpin...again, very small and hard to see in the photos. They are so small you won't even notice them. Very open. Plays great. Exceptional tone with a nice punchy bass (a little on the dry side, which I prefer) and crisp, but warm, trebles. This guitar is excellent for fingerstyle and flatpicking. Most of my guitars favored one style over the other, but this one does both equally as well. Original case. Free shipping in the lower 48 States. 48 hour approval process. The listing says no returns, but that is only because there is no 48 hour option. Buyer pays for return shipping. I will pay original shipping cost if returned, so you will get a full refund of 100% of your purchase price. Guitar must be returned in exact same condition. I am willing to pay the original shipping cost if you return it because I think the odds that this guitar will be returned to me are very, very close to ZERO. No offers. There will be no price reductions. Contact me with questions. Check my feedback. I sell QUALITY and I stand behind everything I sell. Returns are no questions asked (never had a return!). One interesting thing about this guitar is it loves just about every brand/model of string you put on it. I've never had a guitar that sounded so good with so many different types of strings. That said, I never preferred mediums on it because they are so much harder for me to play. This is my last remaining steel string and the only reason I'm selling it is because my 59 year old joints are damaged and I'm only playing nylon string guitars now. International shipping is an estimate. I will work with you to get the best insured rate and you will only pay the exact shipping charge. Questions Answered 1. I ship the next day at the latest. 2. The action is low and relief is minimal. Using light gauge strings the low E is .088 and the high E is .078. 3. I appreciate the offers, but I am not interested in trades.
