Description: Offered is a lovely antique German glazed porcelain half-doll dresser box for storing jewelry, trinkets or just as a display on a dresser or vanity. It features an 18th century lady dressed in a pink and yellow gown, wearing a beribboned white cap and holding out her arms to rest upon her voluminous skirt, which forms the base of the box. There is no damage with the exception of a small repair at the upper edge of the lower container. This may have been done at the time it was produced in factory because the repair is glazed over and feels the same smoothness as the rest of the interior, however I cannot be sure. You can see the small repair when the upper half doll is removed, but not when the two halves are put together. There is an incised marking on the base but I cannot make it out.
