Description: This sale is for a one-of-a-kind vintage piece of hand-crafted painted wood primitive Folk Art. Signed Kenneth Wolf Portage Wisc. There is also a mark "35" which may indicate the year it was made.Wood piece is a Leaping Folk Dancer in Russian costume. His nose is a nail head and smaller nails became his shirt buttons. Dancer is about 6" high and 17-7/8" wide. There are 2 hangers attached to the back side. This piece was found at a barn sale in rural Wisconsin about 45 years ago. Would look great on a gallery wall or mounted above a door or window. Sound condition with the marks of age to be expected on an older primitive piece.
