Description: Wonderful black porcelain richly decorated with gold hand painting, designed by Björn Wiinblad for Rosenthal 1970s Mid Century Modern vase. It is example of porcelain noire from Shammuramat series of vases. The exotic design features seated queen and a girl holding a bird on one side and a floral arrangement with a bird on the reverse. The design is done in a flat matte finish with gilding. The undecorated portion of the vase has a glossy finish. It is marked, numbered and signed as shown in pictures. Excellent condition. There are no chips or cracks. No scratches. It measures 6in tall x 7in long x 3.5in wide.
