Matz Nilsson on bass and Michael Andersson, drums and percussion, I knew and played with already in the eighties. We went into the world famous Nilento Studio, run by master Lars Nilsson. He gave us a fantastic sound and everything went smoothly with first takes only. I'm very happy and I'm sure you will be too, so just enjoy!" Ronny Johansson made his jazz debut in 1961 in Uppsala, where he grew up. Afterward, he went on to play with musicians like Bo Sylven, Lars Gullin, Rolf Ericson, Art Farmer, and Gilbert Holmstrom's group Mount Everest.
