Description: This is a rare advertising handbill (flyer) promoting ticket sales for the four-week, National Tour engagement of the GARY GELD, PETER UDELL, OSSIE DAVIS and PHILIP ROSE musical comedy "PURLIE" at the Forrest Theatre in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania beginning October 23rd, 1972. (The Original Broadway production opened March 15th, 1970 at the Broadway Theatre in New York City and ran for 688 performances while simultaneously playing on the road.) .....
