Another terrific book by the late and very much missed Neil Peart who is as well known now for his wonderful travel books, in addition to being the greatest rock drummer who ever lived with the legendary band Rush. One hell of a lyricist also. Anyone who has read any of Neil's other books will greatly enjoy this book. For any Rush fans who haven't read any of his books l recommend starting with this one, or Traveling Music (basically the chronicle of a music-centric car trip, and the closest thing we have to Neil's autobiography-my personal favorite). Not only is Roadshow a travelogue of two separate motorcycle trips through the US and Europe, the trips were taken during two Rush tours, so there are plenty of Rush-related stories here as well. Amazing guy. He would get up in the morning, ride his motorcycle 500 miles to the venue, change his oil, shower, write in his journal, warm up, and *then* go play a 3 hour Rush concert.
