Description: Originally purchased this horn from Houghton Horns in Keller Texas before becoming a music major at Colorado Mesa University. It was meant to be my permanent long-term career horn after graduating college. However, after one semester of performing with it, I have switched majors and gone on a different path. Now I wish to sell it for what I originally invested. This Rico Kuhn is a 293 handmade German french horn. It is a double horn tuned to F/Bb. It comes with two mouthpieces; one is a regular silver mouthpiece, and the other has a detachable 17.75mm rim on an H1 Cup. At the advice of my horn professor, I have recently taken it to an expert in high-end horn repair at Colorado Horn Works in Loveland CO, where it has been cleaned with an ultrasound and given a fresh set of valve strings. It has been untouched since. Horn comes with:- Case (fully customizable with velcro padding inside).- Care kit with valve oil, and mouthpiece brush.- Two mouthpieces- Velcro hand grip.
