Description: Overall Condition: Fair This camera, sadly, was dropped by the previous owner. The top right corner has a pretty good gouge/scratch on the silver plastic. The top left has some minor scratches/gouges. The bottom right corner has a pretty good gouge and scratch in it and the pink metal is bent at the seam between the front half of the camera and the back half. All of this is noted in the photographs of the camera. Please review them carefully. When I acquired this camera the lens cover wouldn't open or close properly, but I was able to repair it. Everything that I've tested on this camera functions as it should. Flash fires, shutter fires, lens zoom in/out, lens cover opens/closes, flash pops up/down, battery door opens/closes, battery holds a charge, SD card works, dials and buttons work, rear LCD display works with no visible issues. Other than the damage from this camera being dropped, it is in beautiful cosmetic condition and very, very clean. One thing to note - when you turn the camera on the camera flash pops up. If your finger is on top of it, it won't open. It also makes a loud click when you turn the camera off. This is normal. My personal SX230 HS does the exact same thing. I photographed the sky with the lens zoomed all the way in and you can see there are no dark spots to indicate dust on the sensor. The other sample photos are straight out of camera and look completely normal to me. This is one of the absolute best digicams out there if you know photography well enough to want full manual controls in something as compact as a traditional digicam. It has an awesome 16x9 display when most aren't that aspect ratio. It also takes some really cool retro 1080p video if you're into that sort of thing. What do you get? 1.
