RCBS Rock Chucker Supreme Primer Catcher - Adjustable, Unbreakable!

Shipped free to the US only (no international or APO's, sorry), with USPS Ground Advantage. This is an improved Primer Catcher for the RCBS Rock Chucker Supreme (TM) press. It does not fit the RC-II or RC Junior presses, or any older models other than the Rock Chucker Supreme/RC-IV. The stock RCBS primer catcher is widely considered to be poor, it's fragile, it misses primers, the trays fill quickly and overflows, the fit is loose, and it's not secure on the press. This one fixes all of those problems! There are many variations on this theme available on eBay and in the public domain (if you have a 3D printer), this is demonstrably better. My new v2.0 primer catcher better because:The material is a dense polyurethane, made in the USA, that is flexible and tough (like skateboard wheels or the bushings on your truck). You can literally pop this with a ball-peen hammer and the hammer will bounce off. Try that with one of the rigid PLA or ABS versions being sold. It snaps into place with no tools or adjustment needed, locks on solidly with no play and does not interfere with the ram travel.The new version has adjustment screws to set the ram-to-primer catcher clearance. This prevents the possibility of a loose fit causing primers to get caught between the ram and the catcher. It captures the spent primers efficiently and shunts them off into a drop tube that you can send to a trash can, a container on your bench, or wherever you want them to go.The geometry of the new catch "basket" is such that primers cannot land and sit anywhere. All the primers get shunted down the drop tube.I'm now including a small, flexible plug for the front slot (for those who have primers that fall out the front). Because of recent supply chain issues, the front slot plugs are black for the time being. Personally, I think they look a little better installed in the ram, the black color hides the grease.It's reasonably priced and should last a lifetime. In fact, because the failure rate with the new US made materials is better, and I was able to engineer some of the supports out I can offer this for slightly less than the previous version! Fun fact: The replacement original RCBS primer catcher will cost you $17.99 PLUS additional shipping. US Made, US Materials: I've been able to find a US supplier of the plastic filament (Zyltech in Texas). Their product is more consistent, slightly softer in hardness and very consistent in quality - something that has been increasingly a concern for imported materials from China lately. A Note on RCBS Manufacturing Variability: RCBS manufacturing seems to allow a (very) wide margin in the placement of the bore in the casting for the ram. This can be as much as +/- 3mm off center from typical, and in extreme cases can render the primer catcher inoperable due to being off-center from the ram. This seems to affect less than 1% of my customers, but if that is the case for you, the best I can do is refund your purchase.
