Description: Rare VINTAGE Opera Glasses Binoculars - Made in Santander, Spain, by Jose Garcia This is an AMAZING VINTAGE pair of opera glasses/spyglasses made in Santander, Spain by Jose Garcia. The glasses are marked "Jose Garcia," "Santander," and "19 Calle San Francisco" along the eye pieces. This set of binoculars is made of brass and a silver tone metal (most likely steel) with a soft brown leather cover along the necks. They can still be adjusted, although the adjustment knob is a little tight. This set is in VERY GOOD VINTAGE CONDITION! There are no issues with the lenses (except they have some dust in them) and the leather wrap is in very good condition. The brass and silver tone metal have some patina and some wear from use.
