Description: Hi, thank you for looking. This lot is for a Vintage 1987 Fender Gemini III Acoustic Guitar. Overall, the condition of the guitar is excellent. Please see photos for details. The guitar is very well made and according to research is believed to sound better with age there are some surface scratches but the important parts are all intact and playable. There really just aren’t that many of these available. It was a short production run from 1987 to 1988 and because at the time it was their entry-level guitar. It wasn’t thought of very much but as with most things though what wasn’t important then is important now, especially to collectors who are very fond of unique items from the fender company. The back and sides are Mahogany, front Spruce, Fret Rosewood, the neck is mahogany with rosewood on top. Great collectible. Better to get now then when people realize the rarity. 1 year of production 87-88, 37 years ago and not really appreciated at the time with so many other options. I think it’s really nice and a treasured addition to a collection or interior design.
