Description: RARE AMERICAN SHOTGUNNER BRAND TRUE VINTAGE ORIGINAL 1978 ILLINI INDIAN POW-WOW HIGH OVERALL STERLING SILVER TROPHY BELT BUCKLE This sterling silver trophy buckle was awarded at the 1978 Illini Pow Wow Trapshooting competition for the high overall average. It has the very rare hallmark of “AMERICAN SHOTGUNNER” as well as “STERLING”. The condition is true vintage with a wonderful naturally aged finish on both the engraved sterling surfaces and the bronze banners. The Illini Indian Pow-Wow emblem is at the center. Notice that this is a premium sterling silver buckle that also features a secure latch style clasp. It measures 3” x 2”, fits belts up to 1 1/2” wide, and weighs about 3-4 ounces.
