Description: Hard to find gravy boat with attached under plate in the beautiful Blue Belle pattern by Pope Gosser China Company, Coshocton, Ohio. Pope-Gosser produced their lovely china from 1903 until 1958, and this pattern was introduced in 1941. It's their "Sterling" shape, which features a scalloped, crimped edge painted in gold. It's painted with rings of small blue and pink flowers. Each end has a pour spout, and the bottom is stamped "Pope-Gosser, U.S.A." along with their tureen mark, which indicates manufacture in the 1940's ◆ Approx size - 3-1/2" tall x 8-3/4" long ◆ Condition - very good; significant crazing, gold edge is worn; no chips or cracks This vintage gravy boat would be perfect for adding to your Blue Bell pattern and also makes a great gift for Pope Gosser collectors.
