Description: I could not find many examples of this decorative style of matting so I am not sure of the time period. In 1891 the first commercialy produced decorative photo matting was patented. The gold frame has some condition issues but could not see how to remove the matting, see pictures. The hanger is broken off the back. The print lifts out but part of the matting seems to be under frame.
