The box condition is going Good to Very Good or better, sometimes a bit ruff, usually with a black stripe of poster paint across the top and/or side panels to indicate distributor close-outs. SPECIAL NOTE: Up until the end of the 1980s, boxes of trading cards were not routinely shrink-wrapped or sealed by the manufacturers. It was not until the unbridled greed of sports card collectors, which led to pack manipulation and cheating, that sealing the boxes for security became necessary in the early 1990s. Condition of packs is Excellent, all are factory sealed and unopened.
