Original WWI Complete Gas Mask Assembly with Case

Description: This item is coming out an extremely large WWII and vintage Military collection. I've been a militaria collector for almost 40 years and it's finally time to let some more items go. I will be listing out some outstanding items over the next few months including Uniforms, Equipment, Medals, Patches Etc Etc Etc. Starting small and will list things as I get them out of display and cleaned up. I have a ton of stuff so hopefully I will have a few items that folks want to display and enjoy as I have. That being said... Up for sale is this Original WWI German or French Gas Mask & Canister. Markings on the mask are T.C. 38 and the bottom of filter cartridge is marked 40 39 C.38-1733. Canister is stamped marked JS-203-39. Canister size is appx. 12 inches tall by 4 3/4 inches wide. Mask is fragile and leather is to stiff to unfold. All original, no repairs have ever been made. For a 100 plus year old original you really can't ask for much more. Case still secures down and and comes with everything you see here. This is the exact items you will receive in the mail and winner should be pleased with the purchase. Can't add anything you don't see in the pics and if you collect WWI militaria, this might be worth some consideration. Really cool original item right here no way around it.
