Description: This vintage mechanical bank features Jonah and the Whale, and is a wonderful addition to any collection. Made by Shepard Hardware in the early 1900s, this bank is a rare find for collectors of antique toys and games. The bank is a orginal but has been repainted at some time and coin trap is missing. Some of the orginal paint can be seen under the whale mouth and inside the coin trap. On the boat there is a small crack in the iron, shown in the photo.
