Description: This is a One Of A Kind (ONE OF ONE) Custom Hand Made & Designed Vintage Belt Buckle, approx. 393 Grams of Solid 925 Sterling Silver. 45 years old.This was custom made, designed and engraved for a friend of mine. The buckle was started in 1977 and finished in 1979. Even the back belt holder and belt lock are Sterling 925 Silver. For those that don't know...the value of this work of Art and the labor it took to make it far exceeds the value of the silver (which is substantial Approx. 393 Grams which is Approx. 14 ounces) Designed by Louis VenturiMade and finished by Gold & Silversmith Anthony CarusoYou will need a VERY special western belt.... I'd say 1" 3/4" Thick leather for this very special work of Art. It would be for a very special person to wear. It is quite heavy and took 2 years of man hours to complete. It was one of my friends prized possessions. In the future....you could buy 4 Diamonds or 4 Deep Blue Sapphires or 4 Black Pearls and set them on the front if you ever desired, which would double or triple the value depending on the stones you decided to get.
