Description: OLD-VINTAGE PAKISTAN MOUNTED BLADE DAGGER KNIFE/SHEATH This knife-dagger is very old. Has a mounted blade (Fixed). Very solid in weight. Measures 17 inches. The eagle or bird symbol on the scabbard could be a decorative element commonly found in various cultures, including Pakistani craftsmanship. Eagles are often used to symbolize power and freedom, which might explain their presence on the scabbard (sheath). The blade of the knife is a clip point. This is evident from the concave cut-out at the back of the blade, which gives it a “clipped” appearance. This design allows for a sharper and more controllable point, making it ideal for precision tasks and detailed work. The hole/eyelet in the blade reduces weight without compromising strength, or it can be used for attaching the knife to a lanyard or other gear. The curved metal at the edge of handle reflects an 1800s Fighting Dirk Dagger Bayonet although the dirk fighting uses a metal sheath. This one has a fine leather scabbard with an embedded eagle design. All photos are real and actual of the item listed. Any questions please ask. I have never used. It has been in a safe box purchased as it is. The handle has a small knick. Thank you for visiting.
