Description: Handsome fold-out 1963 road map of New Jersey's Garden State Parkway, printed more than 60 years ago. This map opens to 24" x 19" and includes a directory of exits and interchanges and a summary of toll charges. Cartography is by the General Drafting Company of Convent Station, and the date code on the back panel is W163. The map was published by the New Jersey Highway Authority in 1963 and is identified as the 14th edition. There are actually two maps of the Parkway, one for northbound travelers and one for southbound travelers, printed "upside down," with Cape May at the top. On the front cover there's a stylized New Jersey highway map, along with a view along the Parkway, through the rolling countryside. Condition: The map is in very good, lightly used condition.
