Description: I recently purchased a number of leaded and reverse painted lamps that I am going to be listing here with very reasonable buy it nows. I am a picky buyer of these and the ones I have here are in very nice condition. Why buy a damaged or poorly repaired one when you can get a good one for a fair price from a fellow collector of these? Please take a look, ask questions, and let me know if you need any additional pictures. This is wonderful looking Pairpoint reverse painted lamp with an autumn landscape scene. The warm orange colors of this shade glow very nicely when lit, giving a really autumn feel. I will my pictures do most of the talking here, and from these you can see the various scenes having trees, lakes, and various other imagery throughout. In terms of actual size, the shade measures 16" in diameter and the lamp stands around 21" tall. In terms of condition, there are no chips, cracks or even flea bites on this shade. In fact, I see no evidence of any sort of restoration at all to this shade.....it is as perfect and as beautiful as the day it was purchased. The shade is signed with a partial Pairpoint signature as shown. The 3-socket, wooden base (mahogany?) base has matching sockets, cap and finial. It has a wonderful applied pierced brass design applied around the main column as shown. This is a very nice and clean example of one of Pairpoint's nice landscape lamps with an autumn theme that is in very fine condition overall. If you like lamps or need parts please feel free to look at my other auctions or contact me. I am a collector of these myself and always try to offer nice examples to other collectors. I am not making a living at this so can afford to offer things up without reserve or list them at very fair prices so that other collectors can appreciate them as much as I do. That being said, please do not embarrass yourself with a lowball offer thinking you are going to get such a lamp like this. It is just a waste of both of our times. If you want to get a cheap lamp, go to WalMart or Ikea. If you want a nice quality antique old one at a fair price, you have found the right seller. One last note. If you are watching this just to watch and see if it sells, that's fine. But if you are watching hoping I am going to reduce my asking price, that isn't likely to happen as I honestly believe I am asking a very fair price for this. Keep in mind that ebay is one of the only auction venues that does not charge the buyer a premium for purchases like this and if you were to buy this from pretty much any other auction house you could expect to pay a 20-30% buyer's premium on top of this asking price.
