Notes 1) Most 11-speed freehubs come with a ~1.85mm spacer for 8, 9, and 10-speed cassettes. 10-speed cassettes generally require an additional 1mm spacer for a total spacing of ~2.85mm. 2) 10-speed cassettes on 8/9/10-speed freehubs only require a 1mm spacer. 10-speed-only freehubs do not require a spacer. 3) The freehub must be sufficiently recessed from the outer cassette cog for the lockring to tighten against the cassette. Once installed to the specified torque, there should be no play in the cassette.
