Description: This lot all came from Charles L Arnoldy out of New York. I’ve now found out through WW2 early morning reports that he served with the 300th Ordinance maintenance company anti aircraft artillery! This company took part in the Normandy invasion on dday, and with the 4 European campaign stars it’s most likely he did as well. Medal is not named. The 2 German medals are bring backs and are Wehrmacht 17th infantry regiment reservist medals. One has a partial ribbon. The 12th army pamphlet handout from Gen Omar Bradley is particularly scarce, I’ve yet to see another. Bracelet is Sterling. Negative photo has him standing in front of a beach or field? This would be a very nice research project to find out what capacity he served and in what battles. Feel free to ask any questions Except wear from age over the years this stuff is old. Thank you!
