This makes valuations extremely challenging for collectors as some of “Common” cards are valued considerably higher than “Rare”cards and pricing disparities are all over the spectrum… Adding to this disparity was the introduction of FOIL CARDS for the first time into Magic The Gathering which further increased pricing valuations as foils particularly from the URZA’S LEGACY set trade at multiples of anywhere from 5x to 20x non foil versions … The earliest MTG FOIL cards are becoming particularly difficult to find in HIGH GRADE Unplayed Condition.
