Description: Here is a very interesting group of Vintage Monet jewelry! Monet was founded in 1929 in Providence, Rhode Island and manufactured their jewelry in Rhode Island for many many years!Now, Monet is actually considered high-end signed jewelry for those who collect vintage jewelry and love American made! These pieces of jewelry were purchased at an estate sale and at least half of them do not look like they were worn or worn very little! My favorite piece is the gold round looking beads on the short necklace which is actually strung on a very fine chain not string! It has a wonderful Victorian flair to it! The Silvertone marcasite pierced earrings are probably the pieces that look like they were worn the most, they must’ve been very popular with their late owner and one of the little white dangle stones on the earrings is kind of funky, but very wearable! Also one of the three bracelets is worn. It looks like it was probably from the 60s. That’s the one with the safety chain. The other two bracelets are really in wonderful condition. All pieces are wearable! The red stones on the gold tone bracelet is a beautiful bracelet unfortunately, I only have one earring, but, maybe somebody somewhere has that same earring and would be willing to sell it. I don’t like to discard single earrings because sometimes it will turn up somewhere! Some of the pieces have pearls on them, there is a pearl necklace of 18 inches length. There is also a pearl pin/brooch. Usually, I make no attempt to clean the Jewelry because I don’t know if I would hurt something by doing it and the pearls I would definitely not clean because I wouldn’t even have a clue as to how to do it properly, so I will leave that up to the discretion of the buyer. All pieces are signed Monet on the back or with hand tag… Except for one piece, the black and white crystals on the chain. That piece is missing its hang tag, but that piece has been identified as a Monet necklace by seeing the same piece on eBay with the hang tag still attached. And please note that if you see ANY sort of red reflection on the jewelry that is coming from the back of my red, smart phone and happens quite often when I take pictures of shiny objects!
