Description: This listing is for a center door pillar from a 4 door sedan that a friend of mine bought to fix a Model A coupe that didn't have anything in the door striker area (just a loose edge where the post should be) and his plan was to split this in half vertically and use one side on each side of the car to re-form the door posts. He sold the car and this piece never got used so I'm offering it here. Was supposed to be from a Model A Ford 4 door sedan, but I'm not sure what year and what body manufacturer made it (Murray or Briggs, or maybe some other coachbuilder). If you're going to use it to fix a coupe, sedan or pickup body, it's probably going to have to be modified anyway, but it's something to start with if you don't have any door posts in a body. Or, if you have a 4 door that's missing a pillar, I suppose it'd be great for that, too. When we looked at splitting it for his body, it did look like it'd work pretty good but was not a perfect match, it was just a way better starting point than building that area from scratch. Hopefully someone can make good use of it, it's solid and straight yet. Shipping for this item will be $35 anywhere in the continental US. Usually I can ship stuff out within a couple days, but once in a while the shop is busy and it'll take a bit longer. Let me know if you need this right away and I'll see what I can do.
