Description: MICHAEL RABIN plays Niccolo Paganini - 24 Caprices for Solo Violin, Op. 1 - Full Dimensional Sound - Compact Disc, copyright 2001 on the EMI label (724356746220 factory printed on the label side of the disc, and CDM 724356746220 factory printed on the back of the tray card). Recorded in Studio A, Capitol 46th Street Studios, New York City on September 5-8, 1958. Mono Recordings - From the Original MONO Master Tapes (NOT the 2003 EMI Great Recordings of the Century STEREO release) - Full Dimensional Sound - Digitally Remastered. NOTE: No retail UPC bar code on the back of the tray card (but the UPC numbers are printed on the disc itself and on the tray card--as in the normal retail release). Printed on the back of the tray card: "Mfd. for BMG Direct." BUT, the disc itself (and the booklet) have NO indications of being made in any place other than the normal factory (i.e. They do not have the normal BMG markings). Made in the USA. Out of Print and Very Rare! The disc itself has only a few small, very light marks which do not affect perfect play (tested all the way through--every second). The booklet is in excellent shape. I have updated the case with a new one. One spine of the tray card may be slightly faded (please see photos). Posted photos are mine and are of the actual CD for sale.
