A very choice early 1960s large Mid Century Modern Men’s or Women’s jewelry or other storage box. This piece will display magnificently on a dresser, vanity, in the home in living room, study, etc. The wood appears to be mahogany or other fine wood and has a beautiful mellow patina from the age, the piece has dovetail construction (choice, see the side pictures, it’s the way it’s pieced together on top and bottom, indicates very superior construction) and includes ornate brass mounts and hardware, a place for a key to lock the middle drawer( no key, one could have one made), middle drawer has 4 compartments, 4 drawers with a deep raspberry red real old time velvet lining( red is deeper than pictured, just beautiful ).Great vintage condition. Slight wear on drawer pulls, middle wood piece dividing bottom and middle drawer has slight looseness ( slides right back into place(could glue it but not necessary ) very minor overall wear for a piece of this age.
