They show little cosmetic wear and have been stored indoors (not a nasty rat infested garage). The one pictured is the "worst", so know that the one you receive will look as good if not better. The battery contacts are clean without corrosion. We haven't done much testing, but will gladly take your purchase back for a full refund if you're unhappy in any way!
