Made from FKM (Fluoroelastomer) which is a class of man-made rubber of great density but soft in touch, made to stand harsh conditions, such as high temperature, chemicals etc., it comes in 1 size for now (20mm) and 6 colours (black, blue light, brown, beige, green mint and rose pink). Handsome dimensions at 105/105mm not including the PO-style deployment clasp and 3.50mm thickness at the lugs which tapers down to 2.50mm at the tail. Width-wise it tapers down by 2mm, so 20/18mm. These straps fit the case of the "SWATCH Speedmaster X Moonwatch" but also the case of the original OMEGA Speedmaster Moonwatch with 20mm lugs. To name a few, some of the characteristics of this material are: excellent resistance to chemicals (oxidation, acids, fuels), astonishing temperature durability (from - 60°C to 225°C ), great stability in all weather conditions, long lasting etc. The material wass first developed by American company DuPont, under the brand name Viton®.
