Description: Lot of 6+ antique L.T. Meade hard cover books as shown. Some wear to the covers as shown, but nothing too bad. Some personalization inside covers. No major rips, creases, missing pages. Overall in good shape, bindings are all intact. They do smell like musty old books. Details as follows: The Girls from School, A.L. Burt undated, good shape A World of Girls, A.L. Burt undated - but was personalized in 1902. Pages are a bit browned with some tiny tears and spotting on some pages. Daddy's Girl, A.L. Burt undated - but was personalized in 1959. I think the book is actually quite a older than that though. The first few pages are separating slightly from binding as shown. Bottom corner of back cover has wear and discoloration. A Girl in Ten Thousand, A.L. Burt, undated. Betty of the Rectory, Grosset & Dunlap 1908. Nice color plate on cover. A couple of worm holes as shown. Red Rose and Tiger Lily, Cassell Publishing/Mershon Press 1894. Coming a little loose from binding as shown. BONUS BOOK: another copy of World of Girls. A small version published by Hurst. Undated but looks very old. Does have some creasing and ripe pages; binding has some tape holding it on. These belonged to an elderly collector who passed away. Ships from a smoke-free, one dog home.
