Description: I inherited quite a few postcards from my German grandparents who collected postcards during the first half of the 20th century (Please see my other listings). These 2 black and white postcards show the Benedictine abby of Maria-Laach and a view of the Laach Lake. Laach is near Andernach in the Eifel region of Rhineland-Palatinate in Germany. The postcard that shows only the abby says on the top right that it is a genuine hand pressed copper printing ("Echter Handpressen Kupferdruck").
