Description: Lot of 10 Estate/Costume/Fashion RINGS - Vintage 70s - FABULOUS! Adjustable! All 10 of these rings are just so fabulous and interesting. Most of them are adjustable but I'm afraid you might wreck a couple of them if you tried to adjust them. Just be really careful. Use you jewelry pliers. The cameo on the rust color background is a white cameo. The cameo raises 1/2" off the ring. At first I thought it might even open up because it's so raised up. It doesn't open. When inspected very closely, the rust part (resin or glass) has some minor flaws. Had I not mentioned this, you probably wouldn't have noticed. The next cameo has a much more detailed face of a lady and the background is like a light caramel. The surrounding yellow-gold-color is kind of filigree. Huge pink rhinestones (5), pearls (18), and dark pink small rhinestones (5 of 6 are present). This "cocktail ring lifts almost 3/4" off the finger. It's a very serious ring. Band is yellow-gold-color, and fairly thick. The small stones are like red, but also aurora borealis. And the big one has the same qualities. The band is just a thin band. Highly decorated band and unusual leaf shaped setting with a nice sized pearl, with a red background.A sturdy, well-made ring. This silver tone ring has some small marcasite stones in it to give it extra sparkle. But the designer of this ring didn't go out of their way to let us know what it is supposed to be. I think it's a rose, but sometimes I think it's a pineapple. Or a venus flycatcher. Plain thin band. This next ring looks a little bit like an alabaster egg on a filigree pillow with metal flowers on it surrounded by small pearls. In fact, that's exactly what it looks like. Plain, flat band. Big 3/4" Clear faceted "diamond-looking ring on a thin band. It looks like a costume piece to me, but I traffic in costumes a lot, so that might just be what I see. I'm wearing it as I type this, and...it looks gooooood. in front of the display: a band with 6 cameo faces on it. It is NOT adjustable. My friend who wore these rings has small hands, and mos of these rings are small. (right now, but they're adjustable). I don't have a ring sizer, but I'm going to guess that this is size 6 or 5.5. Back in the 70s, some people would cut the bowl off a silver spoon, and then bend the handle into a ring. We thought that was what this was, but THIS is not actually a spoon ring. It's made to sort of look like one. It's fancier than a spoon ring. both ends of it are nice, which was not true of spoons rings. It is, however STERLING. It is marked accordingly. The metal is pretty thick, so while it may be adjustable, it may not be. I think it is size 7--that's a guess. It almost fits me. Sadly for you, the fabulous display hand is not for sale.
