Description: This is a vintage lot of 7 assorted wooden animals purchased in the mid 1970’s while stationed in Europe. The set includes a duck, heron stork, donkey, kangaroo, deer, hippo, and a bird pulling an egg cart. The wheels on the cart turn. Measuring from 2 ¼” to 4 ½” tall, they are made of natural wood with some stain or paint accents. Some have a small spring that makes the neck move. Similar to the Danish MCM or the Goula style from Spain, the original stickers with marking have all been removed, as seen in one of the pictures. The donkey has a yellow woven ribbon accent on its back. They are in excellent condition from a non-smoking home where they were carefully stored. Well-made with cute detailed faces, would make a great collection for someone special! Shipping is only available in the U.S.
