Description: This Lladro porcelain display sign/plaque was issued in 1985 and was created as a special issue for Lladro Society Members only. Made in Spain, this porcelain display piece stands approximately 4 1/8” in height, 6” in length and 2 ½” in width. It features a bright white matte finish with a three-dimensional image of Don Quixote (sitting in a chair, reading a book and holding a sword), the embossed Lladro logo/wording and the signatures of all three of the Lladro brothers who founded the company in 1953. The back is shell-shaped enabling this sign to stand upright. The Lladro blue bell flower back stamp is located on the base along with some incised letters and numerals. Despite a manufacturing flaw along the top and an indentation on the sword (could also be a manufacturing flaw), this Lladro Collectors Society sign is in very good condition with no other evidence of damage.
