Description: Life OF James G. Blaine, Authentic Edition MISPRINT Edition? This particular copy of Pierce's book is only about 1/2" thick and contains only the first 32 pages, and a few of the illustrations(photos) from the full 585 page version. Did I mention that it only has the first 32 pages? Good, because it has those 32 pages TWICE! We don't know where or how this copy came to exist, but it is undoubtedly RARE*. The book is intact with little foxing, but some stains in the upper corner of the FIRST set of 32 pages. Corners show wear but the spine appears to be intact. couple of creases. Illustrations (the ones that are there)are good Originally owned by the Moravian Theological Seminary, has last owners name in pencil. * a misprint or a "salesman's sample"?
