The obverse of the Cook Islands coin traditionally bears the effigy of Her Majesty Elizabeth II. Along the rim of the coin, there are the inscriptions indicating the Queen’s name, the name of the issuing country and the face value of the coin. Thanks to the pad printing technique, the stunning reverse design features the true to life copy of Delacroix’s Liberty Leading the People embellished with a total of 17 genuine Swarovski crystals.
