It was a rumor that some apartment, which not occupied by resident can be illegality taken by other family with kids and it can take years to remove them off. But if you have some of your stuff in the apartment, and it will be taken, you have more rights to take it back as it will be treated as a robbery. I remember that my hands were shaken when I got the keys. My own decent living place with all facilities inside, including gas! With trembling hands I opened the door and enter our new place.
