De Forest was awarded over 180 patents during his lifetime in the fields of telegraphy, telephony, television and radar. Listed for auction is a check signed by Lee De Forest. The check is drawn upon the Lake Shore National Bank and is dated Oct 4, 1948. The check is completed in his hand and is signed ''Lee de Forest'' in black fountain pen. The check measures 6.25 x 3.00 inches and is in fine conditionwith expected bank stamp. The autograph is authentic, hand signed, and the check is a nice example of this prominent inventor.
