Description: This is a lose extra Leather Sheath or Scabbard for the WWII Ka-Bar or WESTERN Mark 2 Fighting Knife. Approx 12.5" long overall with blade pocket approx 7" long. This knife came mis-matched with a smaller CASE knife. This is the correct sheath for a WESTERN fighting knife and also for the USN Mk 2 Knife by Kabar, Camillus and others. See Bill Walters Knife Book 2 that includes information about these sheaths. The sheath is NOT marked. The snap keeper strap is intact, but has been folded back into the belt loop and has been there a long time, and I have not tried to move it. The leg thong is intact and wrapped in place around the scabbard. Again, I have made no attempt to unwrap it. Sheath shows very little use, but mainly age from time and storage. Some slight surface wear and minor crazing, but no structural issues, no missing rivets or popped seams. Overall a Super nice condition sheath for the larger Fighting Knives. Not mint, but certainly Very Good Plus to possibly excellent. Please look and ask before bidding. No returns.
