The cove neighborhood is a favorite place for me to photograph and paint. This home is just up the road from Old Town La Quinta, in The Cove, a small community surrounded by the Santa Rosa Mountains in Southern California near Palm Springs. This painting is sold unframed and not matted. It measures approximately 8" by 8", there is a small unpainted border around the sides. This painting is a light sketch in ink with watercolor wash. It will look great matted and framed, probably custom framing would be best. Watercolor painting hand signed by local Southern California artist RAMfish, Rebecca McEwan. RAMfish is an award winning artist native to Southern California. She received training in drafting and drawing in Las Vegas in her youth and began watercolor painting over 20 years ago in Laguna Beach CA. She now lives and works in La Quinta CA. She has worked with pastels and created many murals and street art. During the past several years she has also added acrylic paintings to her portfolio.
