Description: This 1976 German import stereo LP from Deutsche Grammophon (2530 655) features numerous works by Johannes Brahms: 4 Balladen Op. 10 and 7 Fantasien Op. 116 (four Ballades and seven Fantasias). All are performed by pianist Emil Gilels. Album notes are in German by Siegfried Kross, translated to English by John Coombs and to French by Jacques Fournier. The outer sleeve is in excellent condition overall, but shows some small nicks on its edges. There is an apparent purchase date of "6 78" done in a small black Dymo Labelmaker tape attached at the upper left corner of the front. (See Photo 1) This is one of many titles from an extensive collection of classical LPs and CDs that we will be listing here. All have been carefully stored for many years, played only on premium equipment, and show little to no wear.
