Description: IPC AM-1001 tube power amplifiers licensed by Western Electric - all original, serial 4920 & 4922 Removed from a IPC rack 10 years ago and sitting around since, this clean pair was part of a Simplex C-60 tube sound system. Tube complement per unit: 6L6G (2), 6J7 (2), 5Z3 (tubes seen in pictures are included in the sale - condition unknown).The International Projector Corporation was the leading company and brand when it came to professional film equipment back in the 1940s. Like other IPC gear, these AM-1001 amps were licensed by Western Electric Company. Both 117v units haven't been touched (not powered up), they're sold as is, untested, they're in need of refurbishment/restoration. Transformers are guaranteed to be okay. Original wiring harness for "remote control" included (can be removed for home use). These amps come along with installation instructions (manual for the complete Simplex C-60 system incl. schematic of the AM-1001) and a parts list, both in electronic form (PDF-format).
