Description: This auction is for an incredible large figurine by the Meissen Porcelain manufactory. This is a pair of beautiful Falcons perched on a rock. The figurine was designed by Max Hermann Fritz in 1908 for Meissen's 200th anniversary in 1910. This is a large piece measuring about 12.5" tall and 9" wide. It is very heavy. It has a realistic underglaze painting of the plumage and a naturalistic stance of the birds. The condition is excellent with no chips or cracks. It is marked with the blue crossed swords and a H 185 incised inside. The only flaw I can find is a slight roughness to a small spot on the rock edge. I mention this only for total accuracy on condition. Just an incredible piece of the Meissen lineage. Please review all pictures as the condition report. Thanks for your bid and Good Luck. I will ship internationally but only through Ebays global ship program. I will not ship to a freight shipping company.
